ASM Rescue Training is designed to provide participants with the specialist skills and confidence required to conduct an effective rescue response in a wide range of mountain and cliff related emergencies. ASM conducts supplementary training courses for many groups and individuals that include personnel from Volunteer Rescue Teams, Helicopter Rescue Services, Mines Rescue Groups, Defence, Police, Ambulance and the Fire Brigade.

TEAM CLIFF RESCUE
The ASM Cliff Rescue Course has been specifically designed for Instructors, Outdoor Leaders, and Emergency Services Professionals and Volunteers.
As a pre-requisite to this course all intending participants must have advanced abseiling and roping skills equivalent to ASM Senior Abseiling Certificate level. If in doubt please contact our office to discuss the experience requirements needed to participate.

IMPROVISED ROPE RESCUE
The essential Rope Rescue skills, tips and tricks that all outdoor adventurers should know.
When things are at their worst you will need to be at your best and this course will show you how! The Improvised Rope Rescue Course covers the skills required by Abseilers, Canyoners and other ropes users to apply effective Self-Rescue techniques in the majority of emergency situations. The Improvised Rope Rescue Course is an important element of our highly recognised Abseiling Leaders Course and can also be combined with our Advanced Abseiling Course for participants to be awarded the Senior Abseiling Certificate.
This course includes training in:
- Rope handling
- Ascending Using Knots, Mechanical Ascenders and Improvised Methods

CLIMBER S SELF-RESCUE

REMOTE AREA FIRST AID AND CASUALTY EVACUATION
The RAFACEC program was designed for outdoor professionals who may find themselves as the primary First Responder in medical emergencies in remote, wilderness areas and where delivery to an established medical facility could be delayed.
Intending participants for this course must have a Basic First Aid Certificate and previous. The successful completion of this intensive seven-day course will provide the participant with the confidence, training and ability to effectively deal with most medical emergencies.
